I am a Principal Research Fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation at Queensland University of Technology and my research is primarily focused on innovation and learning in music and media organizations. I am the author of ‘The Music Industry: Music in the Cloud’ at Polity Press and I have published my research in journals such as Technovation, International Journal of Media Management, Journal of Media Business Studies, Journal of Music Business Studies and Popular Music & Society. I have served as a faculty member at Northeastern University (USA), Karlstad University (Sweden), Jönköping International Business School (Sweden) and the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) and I have been a visiting scholar at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). My Ph.D. is in Media and Communication Studies from Karlstad University and I am a graduate from Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) where I received a master’s degree from the School of Technology Management and Economics. Before my academic career, I worked in the European media and telecom industry where I held positions as business development manager and strategy consultant.
